Gyeongbok Palace

Gyeongbok Palace is the most spectacular of five royal palaces located in Seoul. It was built in 1395 and was the main palace of the Kings of the Joseon dynasty. It is home to the National Palace Museum of Korea and the National Folk Museum. Allow at least 2 hours for your visit.

  • Admission: Adults (19-64 years old) 3,000 KRW (a group of more than 10 people 2,400 KRW). Free for children (under 18 years of age). Free for Age 65 or older, Free if you are wearing Hanbok, Free on Last Wednesday of every month

National Museum of Korea

This is the main museum of Korean history and art in South Korea. Housed in a breathtaking modernist building, this museum is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Korea.

  • Allow at least 4 hours for your visit.
  • Admission: Free, except for special exhibits.
  • Opening Hours: Sunday to Tuesday, and Friday 10 am to 6.00 pm. Saturday and Wednesday 10 am to 9.00 pm.

Bugaksan Mountain

Bugaksan is a spectacular mountain in Seoul. It is home to the Gyeongbokgung Palace and a recently restored city wall. View the palace and old city wall then walk along one or two of the easy hiking trails. In Spring, you can enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms. This is an area of great natural beauty and a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of Seoul.

Lotte World

Lotte World is an indoor adventure theme park, the outdoor Magic Island theme park, as well as an ice-skating rink, shopping mall, and a Korean folk museum. This complex has something for everyone. Go on rides such as the bungee drop, Gyro swing, Atlantis, Comet Express, and Flume ride. At night, the park comes alive with an exciting multimedia night parade designed by the Cirque du Soleil team. Lotte World is open 365 days a year.
